Since 2008 the Savannah Volunteer Dental Clinic for Children has served Chatham County and the surrounding area’s most vulnerable population free of charge, providing over $1million of dental care and services to at risk children of hundreds of eligible low-income families. The clinic has now expanded to serve adults as well.
With years of experience, our medical team will assess you and create a custom care plan that's right for you. We also understand the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to take care of your body, providing you the tools you need to practice good oral care at home after your visit.
The Savannah Volunteer Dental Clinic is powered by a team of volunteer dental professionals. Each member brings skills to ensure patients have access to a wide range of services including oral hygiene education, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Referrals to dental homes are provided through our network of volunteer dental offices.
Clinical Director Felix Maher, DMD discusses the need for a dental clinic in Savannah and gives some background about the birth of Savannah Volunteer Dental Clinic.
